So..

I've been a little slack, but if you know us, things have been a little "hectic" around here....

So onto the recipe review - and to be fair, I messed this one up just a little bit by forgetting to set my timer and then "guessing" on how long it had been in. Not a good thing to do because then you end up with little rubber pieces dipped in apples and stuffing. Not so good. But the overall flavor was good even if the pork itself was a little tough. I can't say that it was my favorite recipe, but it was okay for something different than shake n bake and stuffing. The apples were a nice addition and gave it a little pop of sweetness..and definitely help if you, like me, try to use your oven as a slow cooker.... : ) All in all, we'll be trying it again because the kids and Fred liked it and I feel like I took away it's chance at a fair shot.

Next up - some chicken enchilada type recipe I found that looks yummy! (Something WAY different for me!)

First Dish of the New Year and the kick-off to the experiment is....

Pork Chops with Apples and Stuffing. Looks pretty easy, a simple put it in the dish and bake kind of recipe. Hopefully it's as yummy as the reviews say - stay tuned!
